An idea-maker, an activist, an artist, and a mom of three - I want to be the change that moves people. Growing up, I remember my mom telling me, “Life isn’t fair, Destiny. Get used to it.” That made no sense to me then, and it makes no sense to me now. I will not get used to it, and you shouldn’t either… Together, we are unstoppable.

I want to create fun, exciting, safe spaces that foster growth - where everyone is welcome and celebrated! With the CommUNITY Street Campaign I’m able to connect with the diversity in our community, educate, and partner with local organizations, venues and vendors, and bring unique humans of all walks of life together in the same space - The events I plan are meant to educate us on our differences, the political structure in which we can seek change, policies that we share, and for YOU - to see your smiles and know I made a difference in the lives of others.

Community organizer, change believer, mom of one - I just think Kentucky can be "united we stand, divided we fall" if we can believe in each other and our communities. It starts with conversations and love for one another. We are more alike than we are different, and we are the strongest united together in solidarity.

Leaders are nothing more than a delegate person who brings forward the ideas of their people. I love Kentucky. It is my home. I believe Kentuckians are some of the most passionate people I have ever met. Politics aside, we care about each other. I believe that we can build and grow from that care and love for each other.
